  • Who attends WTM Connect Asia?

    Want to know whether buyers like you, or companies like yours attend WTM Connect Asia? What about the people and suppliers you want to meet, will they be there?

    The purpose of our show is to bring the right people together to connect and do business. We work year-round to find the quality of attendees that means WTM Connect Asia is a must attend for you and in 2016, 94% of suppliers felt this was the case and 85% of buyers found new suppliers and products.

  • The inaugural event in 2016 welcomed 100 carefully selected Chinese, South East Asia and international Hosted Buyers. They joined the same number of elite exhibitors so that all attendees benefited from an exclusive buyer to exhibitor ratio of 1:1 and there were 2,010 pre-scheduled appointments.

    In 2017 we will be maintaining this high value 1:1 ratio to ensure attendees leave the event satisfied that business has been done and a high ROI has been generated.


    Key industry buyers (tour operator product managers) attend this event to source products from exhibitors. These buyers have direct purchasing power and a reputation for generating genuine business leads. These attendees commit to pre-scheduled appointments and attend destination briefings and networking functions.

    Relevant suppliers are selected to showcase their products and services to hand-picked Hosted Buyers. In 2016 these exhibitors each averaged 34 appointments, meeting with the most relevant buyers for them. WTM not only had a strong regional focus but a global reach too: 50% of suppliers attended from Asia and Oceania, 25% from Europe, 10% from both the Americas and MENA and 5% from Africa.
